9 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT FOR FORES

From the Singapore front, at the beginning of October, Fores Engineering won an important contract of about 9 million dollars from MODEC Offshore Production System (Singapore) client.

 

The “turn-key” contract provides of the complete supply of Chemical Injection Module for FPSO.

The supply includes:

-55 API 675 dosing pumps with pressures up to 400 barg

-25 storage tanks in SS 316L

-all related valves, process tubing and instruments

 

Fores will be responsible for the design and engineering of the integrated module, characterized by a multistory structure with a total weight of about 700 tons, and it will oversee the assembly and pre-commissioning activities, which will be finished in September 2019.

Delivery times, previous references and the ability to build a valid and competitive solution were essential to win the contract: this important order marks a significant recovery in Fores’ operations for FPSO market and commercial relations with Asian continent
