We are pleased to announce that Artic LNG2 – the multi-billion-dollar Russian project – will see the involvment of Fores Engineering for a huge Telecom package supply consisting of the following main systems:
- PAGA & INTERCOM
- LAN & TELEPHONE
- FO NETWORK & SCS
- TETRA & VHF RADIO
- CCTV
Technip FMC as leader of the consortium that also involves the Italian EPC Contractor Saipem and the Russian Oil Company Novatek has awarded to Fores Engineering the contract for the supply of the entire telecom package on lump sum basis over 23 million dollars.
With this important acquisition, together with the previous equivalent supply for Touat Gaz in Algeria and with other minor Telecom supplies, Fores Engineering conquest a worldwide leadership position in this strategic sector of the Oil & Gas.
The ARCTIC LNG Project includes the construction of 3 LNG floating trains installed on three Gravity Based Structures (GBS), for a total capacity of 19.8 Mtons / y, making it the second largest production plant in the world for liquefied natural gas.
The systems supplied will be installed on the ground and on the 3 floating platforms (GBS-1, GBS-2 and GBS-3) which make up the system.
